Gifts, Shipping and Discounts in a Single Code

Use a single discount code to give customers multiple incentives at once: a product discount, free shipping, a free gift, or an order discount, all applied automatically when they qualify.

How It Works

To automatically apply multiple discount types at the same time, use Abra's All-In-One Tiered Discount. This discount lets you add product, order, gift, and shipping rewards to a single tier. You can set a spend or quantity threshold for customers to meet, or set the threshold to $0 so every customer qualifies automatically.

Example

  • Activates when customer lands on website → 10% off products + Free Shipping + Free Gift

  • Activates at $50 cart spend → 20% off order + Free Gift

Setup

  1. Open the Abra app and click Create Promotion

  2. Set Visibility to Private while configuring

    Public visibility makes the promotion active immediately on save

  3. Scroll to Discounts and click Add a discount

  4. Select All-In-One Tier Discount

  5. Enter a URL-friendly discount code (e.g., ALL-IN-ONE)

  6. Configure your settings:

    1. Customer Buys: Choose Spend as the threshold type and define eligible items

    2. Tiers: Set a single spend threshold (use $0 to apply to all orders) and assign your rewards

    3. You can add a product discount, order discount, free gift, and free shipping in a single tier

    4. Multiple product-level discounts are allowed per tier for granular control

    5. Customer Eligibility: All customers or a specific Shopify segment

    6. Usage Limits: Per order, per customer, or total uses

    7. Sales Channels and Markets: Limit if needed

  7. Click Save

  8. Scroll to Storefront Blocks, activate the ones you want to use, and place them in your theme editor

    Recommended: Text Banner on product pages so customers know the discount is active; Announcement Bar on the homepage for visibility when they land

Reward Options Per Tier

Each tier can include:

  • Product-level discounts (% off or $ off specific products) - Multiple allowed per tier

  • Order-level discount (% off or $ off entire order) - One per tier

  • Free gift - One per tier

  • Free shipping - One per tier

Limitations

  • Only one order discount, one free gift, and one free shipping reward per tier

  • Shopify automatic discounts may conflict with Abra promotions and cause unpredictable behavior (e.g., gifts not discounting, codes not applying)

  • Only one public promotion can be active at a time, use Private or Customer Account visibility if running this alongside other promotions
